yes I've converted to chain.
if i can recommend this depends on what you expect.
the chain is heavier than the belt, and it probably wears down faster than a belt (maybe not faster than your belts though) and it's a bit of work to get it on right. you need to remove the things where the beltguards ist fastened on etc.
the benefit is that chains are cheaper than belts and you can change the final ratio easily and cheap.
I'm driving with the 17% longer final ratio and I'm pretty happy with it so far.
